Psychoeducational Testing
psycho-educational testing is used for the purpose of discovering your child’s learning strengths and weaknesses, whether they meet criteria for a learning, emotional or developmental disability and for purposes of placement into specialized programs into public or private schools. All testing is individualized for each child with focus on “what works” for their future academic, social and emotional success. The testing sessions are often split up into two days as to guarantee reliability of scores. Before testing is conducted, the parents often meet with the examiner to gather background information and determine which areas will be assessed. Upon completion parents will receive a copy of the full report with specific recommendations for the client along with interpretation of data.
